Faith Formation


Our Faith Formation programs consists of all age groups from kindergarten all the way to Adult education. If you are interested in attending and/or helping with any of these Formation ministries, please contact us here...


Elementary / Middle School Catechist

This ministry starts with preschoolers and finishes the elementary program in the 7th grade.  We prepare the children for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist during these years. 

From September through May of each year, all baptized children from both parishes are encouraged to participate in the religious education of the Catholic faith.  They meet one day a week except on weeks of school breaks.

If you would like a child to attend this Faith Formation class, you can print up and fill out a registration form  here and then return it to the office.


High School Catechist / Confirmation Teacher

This ministry prepares for the sacrament of Confirmation with 8th through 12th grades, September through May of each year.  They meet one day a week for classroom instruction except on weeks of school breaks.

If you would like a youth to attend this Faith Formation class, you can print up and fill out a registration form here, and then return it to the office.


Youth Group

The Youth Ministry consists of parish youth from 8th through 12th grade.  The High School youth meet once a week for fellowship, religious education and planning of community involvement events such as ACCY convention in November, retreats, and other events as announced in the parish bulletin.

Adult Faith Formation

Programs are offered for adults, to grow in faith and deepen our understanding of God. During the year the parish provides opportunities to refresh their faith. Please see the bulletin for announcements.


RCIA - Sponsor and/or part of the Team

RCIA is a program of study to prepare individuals who have decided to enter the Catholic faith.  It is a process for adults who are un-baptized, or who are baptized in another faith tradition and who may seek to be received into the Catholic Church. Inquiry classes are held in September.

The RCIA Sponsor Team exists to support and help prepare participants who are answering God’s call to come into full communion with the Church. They “Journey” with catechumenates throughout the year.


Sacraments

Sacraments-Baptism, Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, Marriages, Annulments, Sacrament of the Sick, Funerals, Christian Burial.

Required baptism preparation classes are offered for parish families wishing to bring their child into the Christian community during the year.

Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, are prepared for in Faith Formation classes, or the RCIA program.

The Parish office must receive an intent to marry at least six months before one wishes to be married. Please start this process by setting a date with the pastor.

The Annulment process, Anointing of the Sick, Funerals, and Christian Burials require informing the pastor of your needs.
